Making a Deposit at Cazeus Without Creating a Problem Later

A deposit takes a minute. Most payout difficulties are created during that minute, by a choice of route or a name mismatch that only becomes visible weeks later.

This portal explains the process from the outside. It accepts no payments and can credit no account.

Decide the exit before the entrance

The first decision is not how to pay in but how the money will eventually come out. Operators are required to return funds along the route they arrived on and only to an instrument in the account holder's name, so the deposit method effectively sets the withdrawal method. A prepaid voucher, useful as it is for capping exposure, cannot receive anything, which means a second route has to be registered before a payout can be requested at all. Cards, bank transfers and wallets all work in both directions, with different speeds.

The second decision is the amount, and it should have been made before the cashier was opened. A figure chosen in advance and entered without adjustment is the whole of the discipline; a figure raised at the moment of payment is how a budget stops functioning. Deposit limits set at account level, described under responsible gambling, make that decision once instead of repeatedly.

The sequence

  1. Log in to the account and open the cashier from the account menu.
  2. Select a method from the list available to a Slovenian account, comparing the options under payment methods.
  3. Enter the amount in euros and read the minimum, the maximum and any fee the cashier shows for that route.
  4. Decide about a promotion before confirming, because most cashiers cannot attach one afterwards. The mechanics are set out under bonus terms.
  5. Complete the authentication step at the bank or the wallet, which for European cards means strong customer authentication.
  6. Confirm the balance has updated, and keep the confirmation until the transaction appears on your own statement.

What each route feels like in practice

RouteSpeed of fundingPoints to watch
CardUsually immediateSome Slovenian issuers block gambling merchant codes outright
Bank transferBanking daysThe reference must be copied exactly or the payment is unmatched
WalletUsually immediateThe wallet applies its own fees and exchange rate
VoucherImmediateFunding only; no payout is possible along this route
CryptoNetwork dependentSend on the network the cashier specifies, and only that one

Times and limits stated by any guide are descriptions of market behaviour, not commitments. The binding numbers are those in the cashier at the moment of payment.

When a payment does not arrive

Give the authorisation time to settle before assuming anything is wrong, then gather the transaction reference, the exact amount, the timestamp and the identifier of the instrument used. Support can trace a payment with those four things and cannot do much without them. Keep the correspondence, because if the case escalates it becomes the evidence, and the escalation route is described under complaints.

The Slovenian backdrop

Deposits are made in euros. There is no Slovenian regulatory cover behind them: an online concession can be granted only to a company established in Slovenia, so the licensed field is Loterija Slovenije together with the Casino Portorož and HIT group, and Cazeus is outside it. FURS supervises games of chance and blocks unlicensed domains, but it does not recover a payment made to a foreign platform. Winnings from games of chance are taxable in Slovenia under rules published by FURS. Once a balance exists, the way back out is described under withdrawals.

Common questions

What is the minimum amount that can be paid in?
It varies by method and by campaign, and the only reliable figure is the one the cashier displays before the payment is confirmed. Wallets and vouchers usually start lower than bank transfers, which carry the highest practical minimum.
A deposit was taken from the card but the balance is empty. What now?
Wait for the authorisation to settle, then contact support with the transaction reference, the amount, the time and the last digits of the card. Cases of this kind are usually a delayed confirmation between the acquirer and the platform rather than a lost payment.
Can somebody else's card be used to fund an account?
No. Payment instruments must belong to the account holder, and a third-party deposit is the most common reason a later withdrawal is refused. If the name on the card does not match the name on the account, expect the payout to be blocked.
Should a bonus be attached to the deposit?
Only after reading what it obliges you to do. A bonus turns a liquid balance into a conditional one with a turnover target, a stake ceiling and a deadline, so a deposit intended for a short session is better made without one.
