What the job actually is
I write about one gambling platform for readers in Slovenia, in Slovenian and in English, and I do it from the outside. This site is not the operator: it holds no accounts, takes no deposits and settles no bets. My work is to read what the operator publishes, compare it with how the market generally behaves, and translate that into something a reader can act on before money moves rather than after.
The English pages are not translations of the Slovenian ones. They cover the same subject — a platform used from Slovenia, in euros, under Slovenian rules — for readers who are more comfortable in English: expatriates, people who moved here for work, and anyone following the Slovenian market from abroad.
How the material is sourced
Three sources, in order of weight. First, the operator's own published documents: terms and conditions, promotional terms, cashier information. Second, documentation from game suppliers, which is where figures such as volatility and return rates properly belong. Third, statements and published rules from the competent Slovenian authorities, above all FURS, which supervises games of chance and orders the blocking of unlicensed domains.
What I do not do is dress up estimates as measurements. This site does not claim to have timed a withdrawal with a stopwatch, and it does not print a processing time or a minimum deposit as though it were a fact of the operator. Those figures live in the cashier at the moment of payment, and that is where readers are sent.
Things this site deliberately refuses to publish

- Bonus percentages or amounts presented as standing facts rather than as terms that change.

The position I keep returning to
Slovenia keeps online gambling effectively closed. A concession for online games of chance can be granted only to a company established in Slovenia, so the licensed field consists of Loterija Slovenije and the Casino Portorož and HIT group. Cazeus holds no Slovenian concession. That fact belongs on every page where it is relevant, because it decides what happens when something goes wrong: there is no Slovenian regulator to appeal to, only the operator's own procedure and the authority that issued its licence. Winnings from games of chance are taxable in Slovenia, with the rules published by FURS.
Editorial independence
The site earns money through partner links, and that is stated openly under affiliate disclosure rather than buried. The commission does not change what the assessment pages say; the weaknesses I find are written down, which is why the assessment page carries criteria and worded conclusions instead of a score.
